Jeep Wrangler rattling noise

2002 Jeep Wrangler X
4.0 6 cyl engin
28,000 miles

I have a rattling noise coming from change that has fallen from the ashtray. Now the "dash" cover (that is holding the change) rattles and it is bugging the heck out of me, but I can not find a easy way to open up the dash to get this out. The dash runs from below the ashtray up around the air controls, up beyond the radio controls, and finally it curves and ends right near the windshield defroster vents. I have hunted for a couple of hours a day on this to find the easiest way to get this "dash" off and I'm stumped. I see no screw points at all.... does this just snap off I would hate to pry at it just to have it snap in half.

Any help would be nice.
I did try the links in Joe's signature and I could not find anything on this. I'm searching the web now. Thanks !!!

Hit your local library for a good shop manual and that will give you the best clues. Barring that, a good OEM manual often covers this.
