Crankshaft Sensor/94 Ford Exp 4x4
I have read alot about the crankshaft sensor on this forum, and I think this may be of some help to some readers. I own a 94 ford Explorer Sport 4x4 V6. It would stall for no apparent reason. At times I would not be able to start (cold or hot). The engine would just crank. After much troubleshooting by my mechanic, it was determined to be the crankshaft sensor. It was replaced and is now starting and running fine! Good luck. BTW this forum has helped me numerous times, and has saved me hundreds of $$$$$$$ on various topics.

Most of the time It's not the sensor but the connection at the sensor for some reason the connector pins spread. But installing a new sensor can fix this problem but be aware of this?
fix it right the first time! Fords saying!
