Question manual window off-track

I have a '78 Mustang and the driver's side window is off-track (manual). Rolls down easy but it's heck to roll up! How difficult is this to repair myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Make sure the channels are clean (no broken glass) and well lubed. Ford used to market Mini Vent Lube which worked well.

Could also be a worn window regulator. I haven't seen one of those 1974 to 1978 Mustang II's in a long time. LOL

You might just have a channel attachment bolt out or rusted off at the bottom. You need to check, if it were me I would replace the channel inserts while you are at it.

Smile manual window on '78 Mustang

Thanx for the input...luckily, after we got the door panel off and just lubricated it, it worked like a champ! Guess it was just old and tired, lol.

Could be. Might have been dry.
