Unhappy loss of brake lights, turn signals and hazards

I have a 1995 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a V8. The problem I am having is that I have lost my turn signals, hazards and brake lights. I have changed the bulbs and checked the fuses under the dash. I still don't have the lights functioning. The brake light in the rear window is functioning. Can somebody give me an idea of what to look at or check to get these lights working?

Someone here may have the correct info, but for some reason I am thinking the 95-97's had a problem similar to what you are describing, might ask dealer if there is a quick fix for it. It could possibly be in the turn signal swx. When you check fuses, just looking, you dont always see a bad one. Check it with a volt/ohm meter or start replacing the suspected ones with a known good fuse.

I agree, check the column switch. Also, check your grounds thoroughly too.
