Which is the best on road semi off road shock for replacement on ford f150 1986. I have been looking at edlebrocks ranchos 9000s and 5000s and some monroe. Can anyone give me some advice on which to use.

I will vote for the sensa-trac also. Good shock for the money. Might want to check out their web site.

Monroe Reflex shocks are designed for mostly off-road harsh driving. Popular for hard core SUV users. But they work poorly on paved roads.

The Sensa-Trac has the valve adjusted to respond well on road and semi-off road. I suggest this one.

The others are OEM replacements, suitable for on road.

Rancho's are used alot when you have raised or lowered the height of the vehicle. They come is standard oversizes such as 2" and 4" and 6" longer than oem.
