#2 cylinder misfire

1996 Eagle Talon ESI 2.0L Car runs a bit rough. Ran Diagnostic on the car and the system came back and said that the #2 cylander is misfiring. I have replaced the plugs and the wires but it still misfires. WHAT ELSE COULD BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM.

Could be fuel or could be compression and still could be spark

I don't think it is a fuel issue since I have no other problems with any other cylinders. What can I do about compression/vacum problems with that cylinder

You could have a bad injector

I forgot to write down the codes when I did the diagnostic. Will those tell me exactly what needs to be replaced?

Codes don't tell you what to replace but send you to a specific system to diagnose in most cases. Some times other systems may overlap in the diagnostic process.Try swapping injectors between 2 cylinders and see if the misfire moves,if it does you have a bad injector as Larry stated.

If it was just the misfire for #2 it should be PO 302

A code just indicates a problem area, not the part to be changed.
