Engine oil leak

Engine oil leak
I have a '87 cadillac DeVille. After the car has warmed up for a while it begins to throw oil on the intake manifold. With the engine running Iwipe it clean and oil is leaking onto the floor. It appears to be coming from the lower area but I can't see it from the top or bottom. Is there some way to detmine the location of the leak. I checked the PCV Valve & it seems to be ok. I suspect the oil pan, engine seals etc. but can't pinpoint it. I beleive there may be a "light" that will illuminate the oil but I don't know anything about it.

There is a system where you add dye to the engine oil and run it. You then examine it with a special UV light.
The problem is the light is very expensive. In your case either you or have some one else clean it down good. Then try to locate the source of the leak.
Leaks usually don't leak and travel up. In your case if you see oil near the manifold on top it usually originated from the top. There is one way it could start from the bottom and reach the top if the belts were throwing it up there
