Oxygen and MAP sensor

I recently bought a 89 astro van that had a 94 new motor in it. The Oxygen sensor and MAP sensors were not hooked up because the wires are to short. Can I splice those? Thank You

You may be able to re-route the wires to accomidate the new locations. If not then you can splice then, just be sure to use the same type and size wire. Solder the splices rather than butt joints. You will acheive better conductivity. Use Shrink Tube to cover the spliced joints to keep them dry and insulated.
Hope this is helpful to ya,

Make sure everything matches up perfectly as far as wire colors and quantity of wires before doing any splicing. You definately don't want to start crossing wires there.
