Turn signal problems

Hey y'all, hoping someone can give me ideas on what to check out to correct my turn signal problem.

Vehicle: 1995 Ford F-150 XL, long box, extended cab, 4x4, 5L (302), auto tran (C6), cruise, air, tilt, intermittent wipers, silver & maroon w/ grey interior. haha
Problem: About 3 days ago, the turn signals (either direction don't matter) stop flashing whenever I step on the brakes.

Any help is appreciated.

I have seen this... years ago.... I cant be for sure, but if I remember correctly the problem was a short in one of the light sockets. Check to make sure all of your bulbs work correctly. One of the brake lamps may be grounding out the signal lamp.
Hope this is helpful to ya,
Billy
