drivers side window

The drivers side window on a 1984 Chrysler Lebaron fell down. How can I fix the window so it stays in place.

short of replacing the part that broke( the correct way), remove the door panel and cut a 2X4 the length needed to hold it up, then just wedge it under the window. then put a drywall screw through the door frame into the wood to hold it into place.


either that or a layer or two of duct tape on the outside will hold it up too.

LOL Mike.

Is the window electric or manual? If manual, (which is what I am guessing) probably just a little plastic roller on the guide that holds the window in place. Go to your local dealer and tell them what you have and they should be able to find the piece for you. Remove the door panel to replace. It shouldnt be too hard. Sometimes these things can be a bear to get in and out, but not too bad.
