I dont believe there is a servicable fuel filter on this car. The filter is in the fuel tank with the fuel pump. If it is possible that one was installed then it should be on the passengers side along the frame just in front of the rear wheel.
Hope this is helpful to ya,

as a rule of thumb, 'returnless' fuel systems have no inline filter.

this old 88 has a 'return' system, so the high volume of fuel that flows through the system, needs a filter.

the filter should be tucked up near the front right corner of the gas tank, usually a 1/2" bolt too. like billy said, about right in front of the right rear tire.

what i do when i do these at home, is back the car onto ramps, this gives plenty of room to get under there. just make sure you have a bucket to catch the rush of fuel and that the lines aren't too rusty that they'll break when you touch them.
