Roberto S.

I just bought a '89 Celica, owned by an older lady, with 60,252 miles on it. The car was maintained well, however, I see some varnish (easily scraped off with a fingernail) on the dipstick. The car runs super. Should I be concerned about the varnish in the engine? What product would remove it? TIA

That is normal for a car this age. Even though it has low mileage. It isnt really varnish, rather stain. It is not necessarily needed to clean it off.
Hope this is helpful to ya,
