new coil nowstill no fire what

I have a 1993 buick roadmaster that stopped dead in the road last night. this morning i checked for fuel, air & fire. I have fuel and air but no fire from the coil. Of course i replaced the coil only to find i still have no fire. What could it be?

What engine? You could have a module or crank position sensor problem.

I have a 5.7 liter. I replaced the cap and rotor also the ignition module, now the car starts but runs rough. It also seems to be arcing at the coil wire.

That engine has the "optispark" distributor and its failure is quite common and expensive.
