1999 Taurus

I have a 1999 Ford Taurus. 3.0L V6 Vulcan. I'm getting a squeaking noise when making turns. I can't tell if it's coming from the steering system or struts. Anyway there is no grease fittings and I don't know what to do. 36000 miles so I'm thinking the steering is OK. Everything feels OK so maybe it's just an annoying noise. Any ideas? Thanks.

I also had the front up on stands and there was no noise when steering. Thanks.

They use a rubber outer tie rod end and they are notorious for making noise when they get worn. You'll have to replace them to quiet it down. The replacements will be metal instead with grease fittings.
