oxygen sensor

I replaced the oxygen sensor on my 1992 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L six cylinder. The maintenance required light is still on how do I turn the light off, or reset it since the sensor has been replaced?

Maintenance Required light reset procedure should be in your owners manual. Why did you replace the O2 sensor? Is your SERVICE ENGINE or CHECK ENGINE light on?

I think I remember an issue with those lights that only a dealer can shut off if I remember right. They come on to remind you to check and service the O/2 for normal maintanance. You'd better check with your dealer of maybe Alldata.
