Rocker adjust on 91, 4.3

I have seen two ways to do this. One way says to put #1 at TDC and adjust certain valves then turn 360 and adjust the others. I have also read to put #1 at TDC and adjust #1, then turn 120 and adjust #6 and turn 120 and #5 and so on. I have also read to turn 3/4 and I have seen turn 1 full after the finger tighting. What is the best way to adjust these?

The best way is to rotate the engine and watch the valves. Start with the number 1 cylinder and rotate and watch the first valve (intake)when it comes up and then starts down the second (exhaust) valve will begin to open, when the exhaust valve is down (closed) take the push rod in your fingers and rotate it until you feel a little drag then turn 1/4 turn farther. This will get you in the ballpark. You can always go back and slightly readjust any that might peck. Do this with all the valves in the same sequence intake first then exhaust, both closed then adjust. Take your time with it.
Hope this is helpful to ya,
Billy
