Opening Door Handle on Inside does not open Door to Toyota Camry 1996

I have a 1996 Toyota Camry and I need to remove the inside panel to find out why the door will not open by using the inside door handle. I can open from the outside door handle.

I have removed all of the visible screws. I believe there to be one neer the inside door handle. Any ideas?

Thanks

You have to spread the bezel where the handle pivots. Pry with a small screwdriver top and bottom while you pull the bezel outward.

Don't know if they had them in '96 but I've been corralled in the back seat of cars at auto shows because the child lock switch thingy was set.

Thanks for the information. I will try it this weekend. Sorry I did not mention on the first post but this is for the front drivers side and not the passengers nor the back doors.

Thanks for the information.
