flashers wont work

flashers wont work

I have a 1996 dodge intreaped car, 3.3 engine, my flashers or bleankers dont work, I dont have a blown fuse, but I cant find where the flasher is at and nobody knows at the auto parts place, Please help if you can.

If I remember correctly, it's a flasher "module" up under the dash on the drivers side.

there should be a fuse in the dash and one under the hood feeding this circuit.

the combo flasher under the dash feeds both the turn signals and the hazards. it should look like a regular relay(black)and be behind the fuse block. you will need to remove the lower portion of the dash (the knee blocker) to see it.

a dealer would know what it looks like.

I just got a 95 Intrepid and had the same problem.
Check the positive battery cable, there might be a smaller wire connected to it. If there is, check and make sure its making contact.
That was my problem. I cleaned it and reconnected it and everything works fine.
