93 fd crown victoria police interceptor

Hello out there, I need help!!! I have a 93 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and I need to remove the Differential pinion shaft and it wont seem to come out. I removed the pin that chiltons supposidly thought was it but im thinking there is more to it ???????

did you remove the lock bolt? did the entire bolt come out, or just half?

if the whole thing came out, then you need to break the pin loose with a slight tap of a hammer and punch.

if half the bolt came out, you are in for a long day.

is this an 8.8" rear?
