Turn signals only work when the car is cold inside.

99 Grand Am, The turn signals work when the car is cold inside. when I turn on the heater and it heats up the turn signals stop working.No bulbs are burnt out. Please help

I would try a flasher,when you hear it clicking track the location of it down.I'll try to remember to look it up tomorrow but no promise on that. Because I hate my Saturday turn to work.Some of the newer Grand Ams it's part of the hazard switch.

I looked and it appears on the wiring diagram that the flasher is indeed part of the hazard switch.Do your hazards work when the turn signals fail?

Thanks for the reply, I switched out the hazard flasher and it seems to be working great. This is the first time I used this site. I have to say, you really came through. Thanks again
