Heater problems with 2001 Ford Taurus

I need a little help with the wife's car...there is heat, but the fan does not work...I checked the fuses, but I don't really know my way around enough to tear into the blower motor. Any suggestions would be great!

Start with buying a Haynes manual for the year specific car. That's what I did and fix almost every problem I come in contact with on my vehicles. They're very informative, especially for the non-auto mechanic like myself.

You can start out by going right to the motor and check for power AND ground. Some are wired to have power all the time and the ground does the switching. If your getting power and ground at the motor, it's pretty easy, bad motor. Other than that, you'll need a schematic to track the problem.
