Turn Signals not working 1993 Plymouth Sundance

When the control arm is placed up or down it locks in place but signals do not blink. I checked the turn signal fuse and is good. Also found the hazard flasher unit and replaced still same problem. The Hazard flashers work and all bulbs brighten and dim as they are suppose to. Is there another flasher unit hidden somewhere? Or is it in the steering column?

Thanks again for any assistance.

there should be 2 flasher units, one for hazards, one for turn siganls.

you might need to take out the 'knee blocker' (the part your knees would hit in an accident) to see them both. once you find both, switch them, if the problem moves you know one unit is bad.
