need 2 no procedure 2 check resistence of spark plug using ohm meter? thanx

Need a Ohm meter to read 5,000-50,000 ohms. If you meter is not auto ranging set it to x 1000. Measure with a probe at each end of the wire with it disconnected.

Short wires will be around 5,000 ohms and the longer ones in the 15-20,000 range (15k-20k). Bad ones will be way beyond those numbers.

I always used a rule of thumb of 10,000 ohms per foot of wire max.
