'91 S-10 starter

Should be on the right rear side of the engine forward of the transmission. It's usually held in by two bolts and has a large wire from the positive side of the battery and a smaller wire that comes from the ignition switch.

Disconnect the electrical wires first, then remove the bolts that hold it in. It may or may not have shims installed which you will have to reinstall.

Be careful though, the starters are a wee bit heavy.

You'd better start by disconnecting the battery if you don't like fireworks.

Ahhhhhhh, come on Desi.

Isn't that the FUN part?

Just kidding. I always forget what we take for granted needs to be explained to the DIYers.
