97 F-150 4.6L motor?

Hi,
irecently bought a 1997 f-150 pick-up with the 4.6L motor and auto transmission. Some times it "misses around 40mph?
The dealer has tried everything, plugs, wires, fuel filter,etc,etc...
still Stumbles sometimes around 40mph?Otherwise it runs very good?Plenty of power, idles fine,etc..Any ideas? This only happens around 40-45 mph or 1500 RPMS?

If the dealer's diagnosis didn't repair the problem, then drop it right back in their lap. Assuming they didn't crack a plug going in, you could be looking at a vacuum leak, EGR problem, dirty fuel injector of other problems.

By any chance is it in OD lock-up when you feel this. 1500 rpm maybe to low to handle OD + lock-up and the engine is kinda "lugging".

Do you feel it in other gears at 1500 rpm?
