Question Tuneup Info/98 Nissan Frontier

NEED GAP SETTING FOR PLUGS & TIMING MARK...AM I MISSING ANYTHING?

here ya go...

.039 - .043 for the plugs

base timing 20 +/- 2

you didn't tell us what you are going to do or have done so it's hard to tell if you've missed anything...there's alot more to a good tune up than plugs and timing

btw...unless someone has fooled around with it or you don't know the history, the timing shouldn't need to be adjusted

I would change the fuel filter and clean the throttle body while your at it.If the air filter is dirty put one in.Depending on mileage(check the owners manual)it may be time for a timing belt also.

TRUCK HAS 132000 MILES...HOW HARD IS IT TO CHANGE TIMING CHAIN??? HAS NOT HAD A TUNE UP SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN 98...WILL BE 6 YRS OLD IN JULY...

the timing chain has...

...no service interval...if it's not making noise, don't worry about it. and just so you know...they are a PIA!

Sorry thought it used a belt not a chain.
