A/C & Heat Problem

I have a 1995 Ford Mustang GT Conv. Whenever I turn on the A/C, Heat, Vent, etc., the air blows out of the defroster. I have replaced the switch that controls those functions with a brand new Ford OEM switch, but it did not fix the problem. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forums

It is a vacuum supply problem. Look closely where the vacuum tree is on the plenum. Ford uses a rubber fitting with plastic line, the plastic line usually cracks at the rubber fitting.
