Angry 95 caravan....cv shaft or motor mount

Hello..ok here it is..1995 dodge caravan 146k it is a work truck for my husband paid $400 for it 6 mths ago so its worth repairing if reasonable. heres the problem..it started vibrating a little in the front end..thought mb tire needed balanced as we did hit a racoon the size of a med dog...took it to get balanced..2 days later it is vibrating so bad on acceleration that i get car sick and feels like the front end is going to shake right of the chassis..lol
anywho took it to repair shop says it is cv shaft (boot) broken...well take it to add'tl shop just cuz i always get 2nd opinion and they say motor mount..now how do i know who is right? i dont want to fix whats not necessary. Please help...husband losing work everyday! thank you

Well if the boot is ripped the CV joint is ng, you need to replace it with a reman axel.

I think you need a third opinion....The bad mount could damage a good axel.
