Question B-2000 front end noise

I have a 1987 Mazda B-2000 pick-up that recently started making a rattling sound from the front end. It occurs only when I go into 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear and start to accelerate. Once I ease off the gas it stops and the truck cruises quietly. Any suggestions. I'm thinking it might be the fan clutch.

I doubt its the clutch fan.

Maybe a heat shield or exhaust rattle. Try revving the engine at different rpms in N to replicate the noise.

B-200 Front end noise

Larry,
Thanks for the reply. I could not duplicate the noise in neutral but I'll check the shields, etc. and let you know.
