1999 Lexus 300ES
A tail light is out on the My 99 Lexus. My lexus manufacturer manual says to go to the dealer. I have a Haynes manual for the 99 Lexus, Avalon and Camry. It does not show how to get to the bulb that is burned out on the Lexus. It does the Avalon and the Camry.
The bulb that is out is in the portion of the light that wraps around the bumper, not on the hood portion. It appears that the cover on the inside of the bumper may have to be removed to get at the bulb or there is a black plastic piece next to the light that looks like it may snap out. Does anyone know how to get to this burned out bulb? Thanks

There are 2 ways this culd be set up.
Pull back the carpet on the inside of the car behind the tail lamp. There should be a couple of thumb screws that will allow you to remove a lamp panel with all of the lights in it or some bolts that when you remove them you will be able to take the light assembly out. Do this to access the burned out bulb.
Hope this is helpful to ya,
