put a vacuum gauge on the intake manifold and see if it goes so low so fast, it causes the car to stall. hit the pedal slowly and see if it goes to the same level. do you hear any abnormal hissing inside the car, that was never there before?

the best thing is to compare it to a car that isn't stalling, and watch the vacuum gauge in that one. this might be kinda hard though.

Welcome to the Forums

Mikes got you on the right track.

When was the last time the throttle body was cleaned (use the special Ford cleaner to be safe)

Have the computer scanned for codes. I have seen things like loose batteries sliding around shorting out cause this.

Does it start right up again? How does it run other wise? Is the idle low? How often does it happen? Hot or cold?
