heater blower fan

I have a 1995 chevrolet p/u. heater fan motor only works on high speed. It won't work on any of the lower speeds. any ideas?

Most likely the resistor, some of them you can remove and see the burnt coils

Larry, is the resistor replaceable, and if so where is it located?

It's a small plastic unit screwed into the HVAC case very close to the blower motor. This could be either under the dash or on the firewall of the pass side. iy should have a 5 or 6 wire plug going into it. Very common problem. Not expensive.
