1993 Tempo Sways

I just purchased a 1993 Tempo with 4 new tires. While driving on a smooth road if I let go of the steering wheel the car will remain in a straight directions for a long period of time. There are no weird noises or rattles from the front end and the car seems solid. The problem I have is the car will sway to the right or left when its driven over an area in the highway that is seperated or where the payment is a little higher from patch worketc. Is this normal for a smaller car. This is the first small car I have owned. thanks for any help.

Most cars if you let go of the wheel they are going to follow any deviation in the road. Thats why they have a steering wheel for you to control.

This normal
