No turn signals, brake, hazard or reverse lights
1990 Dodge Caravan. Until today, all signals worked fine. I borrowed a friends trailer, and hooked up for lights. They seemed to work fine, then the turn signals started working slower. Eventually they quit working altogether. My head and tail lights are fine. But nothing else is working. I checked the fuse(s) and all appeared normal. I spoke with another friend, who previously had borrowed this same trailer. He said the same thing happed to his vehicle. He stated that he had to replace 'something' under the hood. I would apprecitate any advice at all.

i can suggest you don't use that trailer anymore, or at least don't hook up the wires.
was he thinking of a fusible link? it's the only thing that is not a fuse that can blow. i don't know how a trailer can even do that. plus i think all those circuits(brake and reverse) are on completely different feeds. i would need a wiring diagram in front of me to even suggest something.
have you tried the library, they have wiring diagrams, that you can photocopy. you need to see what is common to all those lights, be it the brake light switch, turn signal switch or a common feed. that's all i can offer, i haven't touched one of these for a while.

Sounds like whoever wired the plug on that trailer didn't used the standard format and they are a mismatch to your output plug. His plug is probably wired to match the trailer.
It does sound like you may have burned out a link.
