Premature wear of U-Joints
What would cause premature wearing of u-joints? I had the u-joints replaced in my 85 Vette 6 years ago, and they need replacing again. I've only put 10K miles on the car in that timeframe. Help!

Improper installation, 10k in 6 years could be lack of use.

A bent driveshaft is another cause. are you getting any vibration? Are you referring the the main shaft of side shafts? A change in rear height will change the angle of the joint and put stress on it. Have your raised the back end at all?
