neon won't start

I changed the starter and the car started twice, then One click would sound when trying to start again. Battery is good, connections are good. What else should I look at?

Bad starter? Where did you get it from? Some of the rebuilts are of very poor quality.

did you replace the starter for this same problem?

look closer at the positive cable on the battery. it can be tight and clean onto the battery, but the starter feed wire is separate from that connection, it is held on by the other end of the stud that hooks it onto the battery post(on the side of the terminal). that is the connection that needs to be clean, and clean isn't measured with an eyeball, it's measured with a voltmeter or simply a thorough wirebrushing when it's apart.
