On a 1993 ford Pickup f150 the brakes kept getting hot and almost on fire, we have put new shoes and caliber amd new brake lines it is still locking up and getting hot. Any suggestions?

Hi Welcome to the Forums,

Well could be a few things

Find out exacly which wheel(s) are locking. Jack it up and spin them. Crack the bleeders open to see if the become free. This will determine if its mech or hydraulic problem.

Look a the top of the MC if it's rubber check for swelling, some one could have added something other than brake fluid. Feel the fluid between your fingers. It should feel "grabby" not slippery.

Incorrect pedal or booster push rod adjustment.
