Timing settings for Volvo

Hi, guys!

Any idea on where to find timing settings for 99 Volvo V-70, 2.4 L turbo engine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

v70 timing specs

You didn't mention whether it's a Canadian or U.S model.

Here in the States, all vehicles have a Vehicle Emission Control Identification (VECI) label under the hood and you can usually find a timing specification there if the vehicle has one.

I'm not familiar with this vehicle, but a lot of late-model vehicles now have non-adjustable timing.

it just ain't that easy...

...i looked in alldata for you and found that the chart contains many engine and ignition conbinations so if you can identify the engine (a number that begins with the letter B) AND the ignition system (fenix, motronic, denso or me) then i could tell you...as it stands the specs range from 5 - 12 degrees BTDC +/- 2 degrees.

another thing i noticed...they don't list a 2.4 turbo....just a 2.5 turbo

don't know if that makes a difference or not...it might
