fuel and oil sending unit
Where is the fuel and oil sending units located on a 1988 GMC K2500, my fuel and oil pressure gauges does not work and I need to locate them and also how do I check them to make sure that is the problem. Thanks for your time

If those 2 gauges stopped working at the same time, the senders are not the problem. It's going to be an electrical issue in the dash. Not going to be easy for a DIYer. You'll have to be able to read a schematic and identify the components in the circuit.

No they did not stop working at the same time, I have replaced the instrument panel. The oil pressure gauge stopped working about 3 months ago and the fuel about 1 year ago. Thanks.

The oil sender in on the engine block and the fuel sender is in the gas tank (logical).
If you ground the oil sender wire, it should read max. I don't think that will work with your gas gauge though.
