starting troubles

I have a 1984 ford mustang 302ci, carberated. The car will only run when the starter is engaged, as soon as i let off the key the car dies. I replaced the ignition switch, coil, voltage regulater, and solenoid. What do i need to do to get up and running again?

Sounds like an open wire or connection in the solenoid circuit.

Start by checking your connections/wires, especially from the solenoid to the ignition system.

Check the ignition module they have start and run circuits in them and are wired as such.If you have power on the wire to the run circuit I would bet on a ignition module.
