1999 Pontiac Grand Prix Blower Control

I have only the high speed on my blower. The control knob feels like it is making all the contacts, but the blower only comes on on the highest setting. If this is a resistor or relay, where do I locate them in the car?

It could be a switch but most likely a resister. You don't mention make and model so I can only give you a generic answer.
The resister will be a small component (couple inches) installed into the A/C box housing between the blower motor and the evaporator. This could be under the dash on some cars and on the firewall, under the hood on others. It should have an electrical plug with at least 5 or 6 wires in it and 2 screws holding it in. I hope that helps.
