91 ford taurus

Please Help!!! my water pump has gone out on my '91 ford taurus and i need to know how hard it is to replace. if anyone can give me an idea how to do it. i do have a repair book on the car and i also want to know if there is enough room to remove the water pump without having to remove the whole engain. my husband is still laid up from his surgery so we will have to do it ourselves because we don't have the funds to have someone else do it. so any help you an give will be very very appreciated!!!!!!!

I feel the job is fairly easy and you should be more than capable of doing it.I think you need to pry the engine over a little bit to get the pulley of the pump but no you don't have to remove the engine.Having a manual is half the battle, now all you need is tools and a few hours time.
