Question Diesel in oil - Freightliner FL 60

Need to know if anybody ever came across a problem when a diesel is in the oil pan. Someone suggested that it could be due to leaking injectors. I replaced them, but the problem did not go away. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm not sure on that engine design but on some diesels a faulty injection pump can cause diesel in the oil. When you get get diesel in the oil techs call it making oil.Fuel rails on some diesels are in the valve cover and can cause this if leaking.I wish I knew the engine design to be of more help.

Schematics or Exploded View for Cummins 8.3L

Thanks, Davo!

Although it's not the design that you've described (injectors are outside), but you gave me an idea on what to do next.

By the way, the engine is Cummins 8.3L.

Would you or anyone else reading this posting, happen to know where can I find fuel delivery schematics or exploded view of this particular engine and it's high pressure pump?

Thanks, guys!
