93 Blazer Speedometer Problem

I am an owner of a 93 LT Tahoe Blazer T-10. My problem is that every now and then my digital speedometer disappears. Is this just a typical electrical circuit problem or is it something more? I hope you guys can help me out. Thank you for your time.

Oh, I have another question. Why does my car shake in the morning when the engine is not hot yet? Is that a normal car thing? I don't remember it shaking before. Also, what's the deal with the gas smell? Anyway, once the car is hot, it stops shaking. Can someone please tell me what's up with my car?

If the speedo disappears the instrument panel cluster is likely going bad.If you smell gas you need to find the leak before you continue to drive the vehicle. The fuel leak may be the cause of the shaking also.Let us know what you find.
