Tools and storage

How much do the pros/diyers on here have invested in tools and tool storage?Myself I have about 55k in tools and storage. Most people don't have to make that investment in their career after paying for the training.

Well, let's see; if you include the wrecker that my tool box resides in I guess I'm into about 75K!

I would consider your truck a tool so it counts.

jeesh,
In 17 years, I would have to guess around 100- 125 grand. 15 of that in tool box. I am amazed at the amount of dollars of tools sitting on the cart after a job is done. Kinda disheartening to see 5 grand worth of tools laying out to get paid 1.5 hours.

I've never really kept track but I know I claim 3-4K every year on my taxes and I've been around the business for 37 years.
