Wiper blades

I have a 1992 Toyota Corolla. A couple of days ago I turned on my winshield wipers and they moved very slowly across the windshield, even on high speed. Today I turned them on and they made it halfway across my windshield and suddenly stopped, as if they just died. They are now frozen and I can't get them to move. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be and how to solve it? All of my other electrical works just fine.

I'm not very handy when it comes to cars so if you know how to solve my problem, you're going to have to dumb it down a lot for me or else I'll just take it to a shop. Thanks!!

most likely...

...a bad ground OR a bad motor. try substituting a jumper wire from the wiper motor housing to ground.

It sounds like your motor is NG. Just check the nuts under the cover where the wiper arm pivots to see if they are loose.
