brake pedal travel...

2000 nissan frontier crew cab 4x4 auto, 50k miles

i took the truck to midas to get the brake fluid flushed for the first time since buying the truck new. after they were done, i had to put the pedal to the floor to get it to stop. i brought it to thier attention, and they said i had to get the drums adjusted. sounded a little fishy, but is said go ahead. the adjustment worked a little, but it still seems like there is still a little too much travel. what could the problem be, or is this normal?

mitch...

It sounds to me like you have too much air in your system. You should have them bleed the brakes again.
Hope this is helpful to ya,
Billy
