AC Problem in a Ford
the car is a 98 Ford escort, 2.0L engine. The AC is going out because of the module that powers it. Is there a way to circumvent the module completely? I know that it cuts off the power to the compressor when I need it for the engine, but it sticks in the off position, leaving the AC useless. In texas in the summer this is a very bad thing.
I'm hoping that I can wire around it and use a manual switch, instead. I"ll need a resistor, too, but not sure what current I'll need, etc. can anyone help?

No, I wouldn't do that. First of all that module houses more than just the compressor relay, it also runs the cooling fan. Don't create a wiring nightmare, just replace the module.
