blocking an external leaking gasket?

any ideas?

1 corner is leaking externally, are those additives "stop gasket leaks" any good?

You really should take the head off again and see why it is leaking and repair it properly. Putting a patch on it(using an additive) wont last long and you may be asking for more trouble than you already have now.

The fact that the head was not torqued properly may also lead to coolant in the oil causing major engine damage.You really need to do the job over again.Please in the future keep posts on the same car about the same subject together so people know what you are talking about.
