Tilt Steering

I have a 1992 Chevy Cavalier and i was driving home form work and the tilt steering broke on me. Would it be easy to fix or should I take it to a mechanic?
Thanks.

A tilt wheel on a GM is a little complicated and requires some special tools. If you have some experience and the tools, give it a try, otherwise it may be a job for the tech.

Tilt Steering

Thanks for the help. I don't have alot of experience with cars. I better take it to someone that knows what there doing so i don't break it even more.
Thanks again.

If you don't have the money to get that done or if you want to learn how to do it, a good suggestion would be to go to your local wreck yard and get a similar or the same steering column to either 1. Replace the whole thing or 2. to disect the steering column so you find out how they work and what happened exactly in your car.
